Karl has also served as Vice President of Finance at Goldman Sachs, where he was part of the legal entity controllers group focused on entities within the firm's institutional client services and investing and lending business varying in size from $8MM to $7BB in total assets. Prior to his role at Goldman Sachs, Karl was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young for almost 10 years, where his focus was in the financial services industry, providing audit and consulting services to public and non-public life, property & casualty, reinsurance and financial guaranty insurance companies. He led international engagements that included Audit, Tax, IT, Actuarial and Structured Finance teams, overseeing $4MM in annual fees. Karl earned his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Pennsylvania State University. He has earned his CPA from the New York Board of Accountancy.
